Registration at National Electrical Safety Board
Registration with the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board is required for electrical installation companies that carry out electrical installation work on other people's facilities.
This means that if a company's employees carry out electrical installation work only on their own facilities, such as an industry, a tenants' association or a municipal company that owns their properties, they do not need to register with the National Electrical Safety Board.
A staffing company does not need a self-monitoring program or register with the National Electrical Safety Board because they hire out personnel and do not carry out electrical installation work on their own. Register your company (Elsäkerhetsverket).

Frequently asked questions about the membership invoice
Why is Svenskt Näringsliv (the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise) the invoice sender?
All invoicing of membership fees is handled centrally by Svenskt Näringsliv Service AB (the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise Service AB)
For which period is the invoice valid?
Your membership fee is invoiced twice a year: in April and October. The invoices refer to the periods 1 January–30 June, and 1 July–31 December. The membership fee is based on the previous year's turnover and salary amount.
The membership fee for newly signed memberships is invoiced for the first time a couple of weeks after the entry date. Thereafter, the membership fee is invoiced twice a year, at the beginning of April and October. If membership fees are not paid, the company may be excluded.
The sender and recipient of payment is the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Who is the recipient of the invoice?
The invoice will be sent to the email you provided in the application “e-mail invoice”.
What does “Medlemsuppgiftsinsamlingen” (the collection of member data) mean?
For a correct membership fee, it is crucial that member companies submit the correct payroll and turnover data each year. Between January and February, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and its member organizations collect the data needed to invoice the correct membership fee. We call this data “Medlemsuppgift”. The collection is done via the website www.medlemsuppgift.se where the companies themselves report their data and are asked to update their customer information.
The data collection is open for a few weeks at the beginning of each year. If member companies do not report their data, the invoice will automatically be increased by 20% from the previous year. Emails with information and reminders are sent to the CEO (and/or the person appointed by the CEO).
